Al Ain Zoo has launched, in line with the 'Year of Tolerance' 2019, its tenth Spring Camp catering a series of events and activities that carry the values and concepts of tolerance towards human beings and nature.

The Spring Camp, one of the zoo’s annual camps, runs until 11th April and features a variety of lectures, interactive tours, workshops, and field initiatives targeting participants from 7 to 14 years old.

Omar Yousef Al Blooshi, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Al Ain Zoo, said, "This year’s Spring Camp focuses on all aspects of tolerance, including humans, nature, animals and the environment through a wide range of activities that serve the core values of the Year of Tolerance.

We are also keen to reflect the zoo’s message of nature conservation and educating future generations on the importance of conserving the environment and endangered animals."

"Through the triannual camps we hold at Al Ain Zoo, we encourage instilling an environmental, historical, and humanitarian culture, to shape participants’ personalities and enhance their social networking skills by developing talents through our specialised activities and programmes," he added.

Al Blooshi noted that there is also the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre, one-of-a-kind knowledge resources and environmental library, as well as the safari, which includes a diverse range of endangered animals on a global level.
