H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, has donated AED5.00 million to the Emirati campaign for Rohingya children and women, which has been launched recently.
Under the directives of the UAE leadership, the humanitarian initiative, titled " From the UAE for Rohingya Children and Women", aims to provide over one million displaced refugees with food supplies, medical assistance, clean water, education and housing.
The Rohingya campaign has so far raised AED55 million and it's still ongoing to ensure largest possible support for the refugees and their families, Dr Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, ERC Secretary-General, said earlier today.
